It’s been so looooong since I’ve updated here! Sorry baby blog *hugs* Finally now I have some time to update about a postponed post about two things that matters most to a girl: hair & lashes.
I don’t know about you, but HAIR is indeed very important to me. It determines my mood for the whole day & I mean it. When I have a great hair day, I’ll be like: “You just stole my wallet? Here, take my watch & ring too… I ain’t even mad, because I have fabulous hair!”
But if my hair is being unruly for the day… ouch I’ll be like: “You accidentally touch me? Here, let me take out my razor knife and cut off that finger you touched me with! I will make you EAT your finger while your children watch… I’m a monster, because I have a bad hair day!”
So yea, and when it comes to lashes… if I forgot to bring my mascara out for the day, same reaction as above 😉 Anyhow, let’s get started with this blog-post shall we? *flips my hair & blinks*
HAIR I’ve finished my exams & decided to dye my hair charcoal black, so that I can attend interviews looking rather ‘serious‘ or ehemm ‘professional‘? Well, what do you think… Here’s my before and after dyeing my hair *drum rolls*
BEFORE (this is an old pic, my hair had been forever brownish since years)
AFTER (This is taken recently, charcoal black in the blackest tone) Ignore the uneven spots on my skin, this photo is without BB Cream or foundation, that’s why my skin flaws are obvious XD
Nice?? Some of my friends said it made me look more mature though *hmmm* Ever since I dyed my hair, I have tangle issues due to hair breakage & dryness. I started trying PANTENE PRO-V: Total Damage Care 10 shampoo paired with the conditioner.
What I like about Pantene Pro-V Total Damage Care 10:
In about a week’s time, my hair reduced its dryness and coarseness. It’s much more manageable, especially when it comes to blow drying (no more tangling that comb & puling out innocent strands of hair!). I also noticed fewer split ends on my hair after usage *thumbs up*
What I dislike about Pantene Pro-V Total Damage Care 10:
Not much actually, after 2 weeks of using it… I find it very favourable & without dislike. Especially love the scent 😛
LASHES Now that I’m done sharing about my new hair colour, let’s talk about lashes. I want to talk about lashes because lately I got a pretty amazing product that turns natural lashes into DOLLY-like lashes!
Before I reveal the product, here’s a comparison of my right and left lashes (photo from instagram @dianababe_lee) Obviously right-side lashes longer & more visible than left-side lashes, right? My side with longer & more visible lashes, is a result of Maybelline’s new mascara, VOLUM’EXPRESS FALSIES BIG EYES :*
Two brushes in one 😛 Here’s a closer comparison for you… (for more pics, check out my Instagram @ dianababe_lee)
What I like about Maybelline Volum’Express Falsies Big Eyes:
I like this product for the immediate ‘big’ eyes effect, which enables me to have long and obvious ‘dolly’ lashes without putting on falsies (which might cause eye lids to droop and wrinkle in the future). It also dries fast!
What I dislike about Maybelline Volum’Express Falsies Big Eyes:
It’s water proof, so it’s hard to be removed entirely. But no worries… Just get a really good makeup remover to use with this product! Also, perhaps you can now go for a swim with big pretty lashes!
