Tim Ho Wan is known for their famous for dimsum and as always, people want more! Therefore, Tim Ho Wan came up with a new range of dimsums as well as unique dishes. Thankfully, I was invited for the new menu tasting 😀
Let me first introduce the new dimsum dishes:
STEAMED FISH MAW WITH PRAWN PASTE (RM14.80) Chewy fish maw paired with prawn paste is delightful. Honestly, I would prefer it even more if it’s extra chewy! Otherwise, it’s worth a try 🙂
SPICY SAUCE DUMPLING (RM15.80) Smooth skin, and fragrant meat filling. Especially like the spicy soy sauce! It’s a bit too spicy for many people, but as a spicy lover, I approve!
BAKED EGG TARTS (RM9.80) Crispy crust, with sweet custard egg centre is totally to lust for!
Close-up of egg tart. Delish isn’t?
BBQ PORK BUN (RM11.50)
BBQ PORK BUN is unique from other pork buns in other places. The outside crust is crunchy!
TONIC MEDLAR & OSMANTHUS CAKE (RM7.20) Refreshing jelly-like dessert, with flower petals within! It’s a recipe passed down from generations of Chinese cuisine, good for complexion!
QUAIL EGG SIEW MAI (RM11.80) Topped with quail egg, this siew mai is chewy and great for small bites!
Talking about small bites, here’s two tastes I highly recommend 🙂
CEREAL CHICKEN NUGGETS (RM15.80) Coated with crispy oat, this chicken nugget is delicious with its butter-milk flavoring!
SALTED FRIED FISH SKIN (RM10.80) Extremely crispy! Slightly spicy yet salty, it’s best to serve as small bites.
Personally, I like salty ans spicy snacks, therefore it’s my favourite choice among other small bites.
And now let me introduce the evening menu that’s only available from 5pm to 10pm!
CHICKEN SOUP with YAM & WOLFBERRY (RM14.80) This soup took 4-5 hours to be broiled! Nourishing soup as starters, it’s good for skin, cartilage, as well as blood flow 🙂
CRISPY NOODLE with SHREDDED PORK (RM14.80) The sauce is thick and aromatic, making it a great combination with the noodles. As for the noodles, it’s best to serve with the sauce at all times, as eating them on their own is a bit bland.
WONTON NOODLE SOUP (RM15.80) There’s a big prawn in every dumpling. Need I say more?
YANG ZHOU FRIED RICE (RM16.80) Big prawns again. Need I say more too? 😛
BRAISED PORK KNUCKLES (RM22.80) Soft, succulent, and tender. However, I would prefer it even better if spicier! But if you like mild taste, this is perfect (my parents love it).
